We decided to really dig in and research the topic, and were somewhat surprised to find that there was an element of truth to both sides of the discussion. There are respected scientific studies that have been done showing anecdotal evidence of amazing results using TMAZ (Tribo-Mechanically Activated Zeolite) specifically Clinoptilolite, done over the course of more than ten years by scientist, primarily in Europe.

On the "scam" side we found that there are many products that appear not to understand the basic science behind how the crystals are believed to function...or include such miniscule amounts of the actual active mineral that it seems hardly likely the benefit of their customers is their primary focus.

What our investigations seemed to indicate to us was that what is really important for effective clinoptilolite supplements were these four things:
 

We decided that none of the available products were precisely what we wanted, and decided to start our own company. This is not to say that there are not good products on the market already, there are in fact two companies that make very nice products in our opinion...just not exactly what we wanted.

We searched for the best sources of raw minerals, and there was a vast difference in what was acceptable legally and what was acceptable to us as far as the quality of the mineral was concerned! Having secured what we believe is the very best raw material available we moved on to our next item: micronization.

Micronization is extremely important due to the way clinoptilolite crystals function! Essentially, when you divide the particle size by 10, you increase it's surface area by 1000...which means that there are more available "docking points" to bind with heavy metals and toxins, as well as more opportunities for cation exchange to neutralize free radicals for the same amount of mineral. Therefore we believe in "the smaller, the better"!

Finally, each vegetarian capsule of our Dao Micro Crystals contain 500 milligrams ultra micronized clinoptilolite, period.
